Our mission at St. Mary’s is to provide a quality education guided by the spirit of love within an atmosphere of academic excellence that nurtures growth and wholeness for each child. Our community, an extension of St. Mary’s Parish in Ballston Spa, NY, strives to instill the values to act creatively within our culture by encouraging social awareness, truthful communication and responsible decision-making.
We have a partnership of teachers, staff, parents, community members and students that accomplishes our goals. We recognize the role of parents as a child’s primary educator. Knowledge and understanding of this helps us to educate each child to their highest potential. While we emphasize academic excellence, we also reaffirm the importance of good citizenship and personal responsibility. Your child will be educated in a safe environment where all are shown dignity and respect.
Each of our Pre-K through grade 5 school classrooms is equipped with Smartboards. Students attend a variety of weekly courses, including library, gym, music, art, Spanish and technology. We also offer robotics, Irish dance, yoga, Olympics of the Mind, and many other activities. Our Before and After School Program is run by our staff from 7-9 a.m. and 3-6 p.m.
Our families enjoy small class sizes and the Parent Teacher Organization activities geared toward students. The courses and standards we set for each grade level and deliver a higher level of learning to children in an environment where they can flourish.
